Workflow Tab

The Workflow tab contains the settings that define some basic information about the steps your organization will use in key processes and the order in which those steps will occur. It contains the following sections:

New Account Process - This section allows the user to specify which account attributes should be used when an account is added, their order, and whether they are required.

Move In/Move Out Process - This section allows the user to specify which account attributes should be used when a move in or move out is added, their order, and whether they are required.

Move In/Out Automation - This section contains the Automatically Create Move Out on Move In and Set Move Out Date to One Day Prior to Move In check boxes. Selecting Automatically Create Move Out on Move In creates a move out transaction for the account each time a move in transaction is created for it. Select this option if the move in transaction can drive the move out transaction. Clear this option if you require contact with the party moving out. Selecting Set Move Out Date to One Day Prior to Move In sets the day prior to a move-in date as the move-out date.

Meter Entry - This section contains the Allow Quick Meter Entry from Meter Service Maintenance control. If this check box is selected, users will be able to add a meter number on the fly when a new meter is tied to an account in New Account, Customer Service, or Work Order Results. If this check box is not selected, users must select a new meter that is on the list of meters defined in the software and that is not already in service on an account. Typically, this check box will be cleared if users are not allowed to enter meter information; select it if users should be allowed to enter meters on the fly.

Add New Service - This section allows the user to specify which attributes should be used when a service is added to an account, their order, and whether they are required.

Customer Service - This section allows the user to specify which account attributes should be used when an account is maintained.

Billing - This section allows the user to specify which attributes of the billing process their utility organization will use.
